Now with the current features we could sort papers according to first author names or publication year or uploaded year or journal type etc,. So, Sorting articles according to our preferred ways is excellent option already available in the readcube web app or desktop.
Users might prefer different types of sorting between library and different lists. Under current version of readcube, once I sort articles according to first author name in library, that becomes default across all lists too. Instead, I would love to see, localized differential sorting be applied across lists and library. Such an option would allow me to have sorting according to upload date in library and sorting according to year of publication in specific desired or chosen lists.

please add this.
in the 'all papers' list I like to have the recently added on top,
but in my own created lists I'd like to sort based on publication date.
