It's great that we can search for specific titles and authors at the main interface, but it would be so much more helpful if we could search for keywords or "group of words" that are in the actual text of the articles.
Is this possible? If not I may have to keep a backup of the articles on my computer to do these types of searches.
+1 for adding a dropdown menu. Something like the Papers3 implementation would be really helpful
I will see about adding those in the dropdown menu but you can see all the search terms currently available here: https://readcubesupport.freshdesk.com/support/solutions/articles/30000037532-advanced-searching .
I use the Papers3 functions to search Pubmed and my library by First Author, abstract, and last author on a daily basis. When will these be available in ReadCube web and desktop?
Besides routine searches, this will be especially useful when trying to convert a papers3 citation to a readcube citation, so I can use the first author and year published and maybe a word I know will be in the title or abstract....
it would be good to include the other specifications (abstract, address, etc) in the dropdown menu, in addition to Author/Journal/Title/Year.
Full text search is coming with the desktop app. As far as searching for keywords you can search for them using the tag search term. For instance
If your keyword has multiple words you just need quotes
