When adding new papers to my library, I would like to be able to search by PMID. Older papers listed in Pubmed do not always have an assigned DOI to search. Currently when I search by PMID, no results are returned.
Also, when writing collaboratively, colleagues list future citations by PMID. If I am to be able to quickly convert them to citations using Papers, I need that link to be present. I do use the browser extension, which allows me to figure out what the paper is and if I have it, but that does not link it directly to SmartCite.
