Please allow auto-collapsing of tags to be optional

I have hundreds of tags. Whenever I close the desktop app and open it again, all the tags in the list collapse. To get to a particular tag (especially ones starting with a letter at the end of the alphabet) I have to uncollapse the list dozens of times. Please please make this feature optional or get rid of it.
