Support for non-PDF files import into article supplements

I would greatly appreciate adding support for importing non-PDF files (e.g. TXT, DOC, JPG, PNG) into article supplements. Many journal articles I work with have TXT supplemental files, and I can't save them in an organized manner. Thank you
