Copy/insert full formatted reference : Papers Support

Currently, if you want to insert a full reference with SmartCite you have to insert a citation and create a bibliography, then copy the reference from the bibliography. Papers3 citations allows copying the full formatted reference to the clipboard to be pasted wherever it is needed. This would be much more convenient, both within SmartCite and the in the Readcube Papers app.

I agree. We need a way to copy and paste a citation in something other than Word like an email or google docs.

Hey there,

Thanks for your feedback!If you right-click on the citation in the app you can copy the metadata to your clipboard or part of the metadata needed.
