It would be nice to be able to copy text from an article and paste it followed by a link to its position in an article. This would make taking synthesizing notes on readings easier, as well as further citing, and maybe even prevent accidental plagiarism by careless students.
For example, if I copy the text from a paper and then paste it into a document I'd like it to show up with reference and position information as some sort of hyperlink, or at least the DOI.
For example:
Copied: "ThT fluorescence showed global and self-sustained oscillations"
Pasted: "ThT fluorescence showed global and self-sustained oscillations (10.1038/nature15709, page 1, line 120)"
