Related to this: *In the naming convention for File Management, there should be an option to use the abbreviated journal name.*
The full journal name can be unnecessarily long, e.g. "The Journal of neuroscience - the official journal of the Society for Neuroscience". Not great for filenames.
Is there a way to make a journal abbreviation apply to all the entries? I haven't found a way to do bulk editing of multiple entries, and making the change in one seems to have no effect on others. Is that true?

When exporting as Bibtex .bib file, enable an option to have either full journal titles/names or official abbreviations.
Now, it is very annoying to change the whole file manually, if the abbreviated format is needed
