option for offline citation

I must work in areas without internet. If possible to cite from desktop app and not from the cloud?

Second this - I often work offline in areas of low internet converage (home is in rural area, as is fieldwork)

+1 the ability to work without internet is essential for writing

Has any progress been made on this? The word plugin is already pretty unwieldy compared to other options like zotero; the fact that I essentially can't work with readcube papers for its most important purpose for me while I'm abroad or in a low-reception area is a bit of a dealbreaker..
